Council Team Members – Landfill + Waste

The Roles:

Landfill/Transfer Stations

• Watercart Operators
  • Assisting with the dispersal of water for dust/leachate management
• FE Loader Operators
  • Moving landfill into Moxy dump trucks for transport to landfill cells
• Moxy Dump Truck Operators
  • Transport of landfill and other small plant machinery around transfer station
• General Hands
  • Assisting with general customer service queries
  • Completing general cleaning and maintenance tasks around the landfill

Waste Collection

• Bulk Verge Collection

• Working in teams to complete scheduled bulk verge collection/illegal dumping pickups

• Bin Runner/Offsider

• Working alongside HR Driver’s to collect bins and complete scheduled waste management pickups

• HR Drivers
  • Operating side loader + rear loader waste collection vehicles to complete scheduled waste management pickups

Criteria:

• MUST be physically fit
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a similar role
• HR Licence (for Driving/Operating roles)
• Side loader experience (highly desirable)
• White Card
• National Police Clearance
• Clean driving record and ability to pass D&A screening
