• 2 MONTH CONTRACT
• TRADE ASSISTANTS – $32-$38 P/HR + PENALTIES
• MECHANICAL FITTERS – $40-$60 P/HR + PENALTIES

Mechanical Fitters + Trade Assistants

Great opportunity for an experienced Trade Assistant/Trade Qualified Fitter to further their career with a company who strives to adhere to the following values.

The Role:

Assisting Mechanical Fitters with:

• Maintenance and overhaul of Gantry Cranes for new commercial development
• Deconstruction, maintenance, and installation of mechanical equipment, gearboxes, pulley systems and mechanical control systems
• Working efficiently whilst keeping a focus on your health and safety
• Completion of ADHOC maintenance that may arise over the course of the project

Criteria:

Trade Assistants:

• White card
• Working at Heights Certificate
• Valid driver’s licence + reliable transport
• Overhead Gantry Crane ticket/experience (highly desirable)

Mechanical Fitters – in addition to the above will require:

• Nationally Recognised Trade Certificate – Mechanical fitter
• Gearbox or Component overhaul experience (highly desirable)
