Transport Coordinator

We’re seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our steel manufacturing warehouse team in an ongoing role based in Canning Vale. This is a hands-on position, split between 40% factory floor duties and 60% administrative tasks. You’ll be responsible for coordinating transport and logistics operations, operating machinery, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods.

The Role:

• Plan and optimize shipment routes
• Managing stock and inventory using ASA
• Ensure products are labelled and meet quality standards
• Liaise between production, loading/unloading, and transport operations
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders about delivery schedules, access, and any disruptions
• Operate machinery including forklifts and overhead cranes
• Conduct daily inspections of plant equipment and machinery
• Carry out general warehousing duties as needed
• Other ADHOC duties as required

Experience – Qualifications essential

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence
• Valid forklift licence (essential)
• Overhead crane experience (highly regarded)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Competent with computers and administrative tasks
