Parks Technical Officer

The Role

Technical Officer involving:

• Interpreting and assessing landscape plans, documentation for development and upkeep of council lands; parks, ovals, verges and streetscapes
• Computer work with MS office suites (Word, Excel, Project) and GIS data systems
• Working horticultural knowledge for dealing with issues in species, planting, maintenance, watering
• Contractor communication and contract management
• Other duties as required

Experience – Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role min 2 years
• White Card
• National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
• C Class licence
• Cert 3 Horticulture – Highly Desirable
